With the introduction of watchOS 10, significant changes are brought to the useful Heart Rate interface on the Apple Watch, an app that has been a lifesaver for many.
9to5mac has published images showing how the app that monitors your heartbeat and alerts you in case of abnormalities will evolve in the next version of watchOS.

Apple Watch will feature a revamped widget-based interface with the arrival of watchOS 10, while redesigned apps will now offer more information at a glance, providing new ways to navigate and quickly access content. Similarly, the current Heart Rate app shows your current heartbeats per minute (BPM) when activated. Swiping upwards will reveal your resting heart rate and your average heart rate during walking. However, the watchOS 10 version of the app will provide additional and more detailed data.
When you open the app, you'll be presented with a brand new icon of a heart in the shade, while you wait for your watch to read it. When your heart rate number appears, the heart icon will beat in sync with your heartbeat.
It is expected that watchOS 10 will be available for compatible Apple Watch models shortly before the end of next month.
