The Samsung Galaxy S23 series had remarkable sales success, but the Galaxy S24 series outperformed that according to Counterpoint's research.
The success started with strong pre-orders and continued with open sales. Samsung increased its shipment target for the first quarter of 2024, from an initial 12 million to 13 million units.
Worldwide, sales of the Galaxy S24 series increased by 8% compared to the S23 models during the same period, from January 28 to February 17. While this figure may seem small, some regions saw significant growth.

As regards the distribution of sales between the different S24 models, there seems to be a more balanced situation this year. The Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra makes up 52% of the total sales, with the regular Galaxy S24 making up 27% and the Galaxy S24+ only reaching 21%.
