If you don't like iPhone's ability to adjust the brightness of the screen automatically, you've probably enabled it through Settings > Display & Brightness. No matter how hard you look though, in iOS 11, you won't find anything similar in the same spot, as the auto-brightness option is no longer available where we remembered it.
So where did he go?
It is now in the accessibility settings. Follow the path General > Accessibility > Accessibility > Screen Aids and there you will see the iconic switch for Auto Brightness.
Do you wonder why they hid the arrangement there? From time to time, various changes are made with software updates, so it's not surprising. Of course, perhaps, Apple is trying to avoid whining: those who turn off auto-brightness face serious battery life problems. So if they have trouble figuring out how to do it, maybe they won't do it at all.
White point reduction
Another issue that has troubled users who have installed iOS 11 on their iPhone is that the screen is noticeably darker compared to previous versions. If you are experiencing something similar, check the White Point Reduction setting. If it's enabled, it can affect the iPhone screen.
To turn it off, go to Settings > General > Accessibility > Accessibility > Screen aids > White point reduction. This setting reduces the intensity of bright colors so they don't disturb the eyes but at the same time darkens the screen. Depending on what bothers you the most, act accordingly.
