With Avast Photo Space, you'll store 7 times as many photos on your iPhone without losing the originals.
When you hear Avast you may think of antivirus software but recently the same company released a new app for iOS that helps free up storage space when the user has a lot of photos.
It is Avast Photo Space and it is designed to increase the storage space of iPhone photos by 7 times.
The basic idea is as follows: most people don't need the original full resolution photo to be stored and instantly accessible on the iPhone, a small version would suffice. So Avast Photo Space shrinks the photos and stores them in a smaller, optimized version. Through this process, every 7 GB of photos is shrunk to 1 GB.
According to a survey conducted by the company itself, more than half of iOS users have 16GB available on their devices, which is easily consumed by photos and apps. With Avast Photo Space, the user can free up space without having to agonize over which photos to delete and which to keep.

The app, however, goes one step further: it can connect to a storage account such as Google Drive or Dropbox. The original photo files are automatically synced to the account of choice, so high-resolution images are available at all times. More cloud services will be added to the app in the future.

The app also has a built-in camera to make downloading and backing up even smoother.
So, if you keep getting notifications that you've "run out" of storage space, you might want to take a look at Avast Photo Space and try a new solution for your image storage needs.
The app is free and can be downloaded from App Store.
