Samsung announced that One UI 6.1 has already reached 8.8 million devices as of last March. This number does not include the Galaxy S24 series, as it came with One UI 6.1 pre-installed. So we're talking about the Galaxy S23 series (including the S23 FE), the Z Fold 5 and Flip 5, and the Galaxy Tab S9 series.
The upgrade was launched in March for those devices and is expected to be extended this month to also include the Galaxy S22 family, the Fold 4 and Flip 4, as well as the Galaxy Tab S8 series.
In this way, the number of devices with One UI 6.1 will continue to grow, allowing more users to enjoy the new features of Galaxy AI.
Samsung's goal is to reach more than 100 million users with access to Galaxy AI by the end of 2024. The company says the most popular AI features from One UI 6.1 are Live Translate, Live Transcribe, Chat Help and Circle in Search.
Overall, Samsung notes that the One UI 6.1 update has been installed by around 75% of European Galaxy Z Fold 5 users, 80% of Galaxy S23 Ultra owners and around 65% of Galaxy Tab S9 users, making it one of the most popular software updates ever released.
