What is email?
In the digital age, letters have completely disappeared and only bills arrive in the postbox to be paid. But even these are tending to disappear, as it is now possible to send them electronically. Plus, having email is one of the first things to do once you have a computer or smartphone. Even subscribing to social media and online platforms requires having an email. So, email is something of a necessary evil, a necessary skill in the electronic world.
Ducky and Imale (email)
Email, or electronic mail, is an online service that allows you to write, send, receive and store messages over the internet. Like the conventional "letter", we need an address for the sender and for the recipient. The address is divided in the middle by @, the symbol we call "ducky" in Greek, to distinguish the recipient's "username" from the email service.
Opening a parenthesis and diving into the past, in 1972, Raymond Samuel Tomlinson, sent the first email with the @ symbol to indicate the location of the recipient, because until then emails were sent to users using the same computer.

General advice
When you fill in your personal details, such as your name, birthday and gender, it is not necessary to give your real details. However, if you decide to enter other than the real ones, you should write them down somewhere so that you can remember them.
After you have created your email, before you start sending and receiving emails, go to the settings of the service you have chosen to differentiate the ones you are interested in.
If you think you'll forget them, write down your password and username in a notebook. Do not trust your password to anyone.
